These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and delivery of MoonGold meal packages and gift cards through www.moongoldmeals.com.

MoonGold operates as a small business under §19 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung). No VAT is charged.
2. Service Description
Moongold provides freshly prepared postpartum meals delivered in person within selected areas of Berlin.
Meals are delivered as weekly set menus. Individual meal selection or customization is not available.
Meals are delivered ready-to-heat and intended for refrigeration upon receipt.
3. Ordering and Contract Formation
By placing an order through our website, you submit a binding offer to purchase a meal package.
The contract is formed once you receive an order confirmation email.
MoonGold reserves the right to decline orders if delivery is not possible.
4. Delivery Schedule
Deliveries occur twice per week, typically on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Customers must select a delivery week starting on a Monday during checkout.
We recommend selecting a delivery week approximately 1–2 weeks after the expected due date.
Delivery is available only within the designated delivery areas in Berlin.
If delivery is requested to a hospital, it will be made to the hospital lobby, and the customer or a designated person must collect it.
Delivery address changes must be requested no later than 5:00 pm on the day before the scheduled delivery.
5. Order Changes
Delivery week changes must be requested no later than Tuesday at 5:00 pm of the week prior to the scheduled delivery week.
Changes requested after this time may not be possible due to ingredient sourcing and preparation scheduling.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if cancellation is requested at least 14 days before the scheduled delivery week start date.
Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment.
Once a refund is confirmed, it will be processed within 7 days.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the delivery week may not be eligible for a refund, as preparation and logistics will already be underway.
7. Gift Cards
Gift cards:
Are non-returnable
Are non-refundable
Cannot be exchanged for cash
Gift cards may be used toward any MoonGold meal package.
8. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Euros.
MoonGold operates under §19 UStG; therefore, no VAT is charged.
Payment is due at the time of ordering.
Accepted payment methods are provided at checkout.
9. Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery or providing instructions for safe delivery.
If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address information or absence, MoonGold cannot guarantee replacement or refund.
10. Food Safety and Storage
Meals are delivered fresh and must be refrigerated promptly upon delivery.
Heating instructions are provided.
MoonGold is not responsible for improper storage after delivery.
11. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
Meals are prepared in facilities that may handle common allergens.
Moongold cannot guarantee allergen-free meals and is not responsible for allergic reactions.
Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients and suitability.
12. Liability
Moongold is liable only for damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence, to the extent permitted by German law.
13. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
Due to the perishable nature of prepared food, the statutory right of withdrawal under §312g Abs. 2 Nr. 2 BGB does not apply once production has begun.
However, MoonGold offers voluntary cancellation and refund terms as described above.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
